That's the attraction to the bronco for me, the uniqueness ... He didn't say " look at that tacoma" or " how cool is that F150"..... Not even once.

Exactly Andy, as bronco owners were the underdogs. To me the fact that he was doing stuff in a bronco only race trucks do makes people say holy crap! Did you see that! In the end it is pure badassness period.

Thats why i like having stock bumpers, nobody expects whats about to happen hahaha. Your Bronco looked great Mike, and plans to re tune the shocks?

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
Tune the shocks? What did you see Ryan? He did major tuning before the race... Says softer springs and stiffer valving... I thought it soaked all that up pretty well. He designed it to run lower in the rear... Only reason front is so high is the TTB.. Haha

Just curious if the current set up is where he likes it or if he sees any room for improvement. It looks great.

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
got ya!! I was trying to watch it most the night and I didn't see anything major as far as rebound or compression but I'm far from an expert. Hoped you saw something I could go back and analyze.... Haha

Looked like it was soaking it up pretty good to me. Just need to try to lessen the body roll is the only thing it could use if you ask me. Not trying to sound critical mind you, I just want him to win.

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
I asked him about pulling the shell for weight and he laughed... Said he wasn't worried about weight. I guess it's not a bronco with the shell off. Not to most people anyway.

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
Ya I guess your right Andy.
Hmm...That time I talked to Dave Ashley at the fab school he mentioned he had a carbon fiber bronco shell made for his old race bronco . I wonder if I hit my buddy up over there if he could ask Dave and find out who made it and if the molds are still around. He said the replacement shell was only like 20-30 lbs. that would help I think...?.
That is of course if it's not too expensive.

Michael Cox's Street Queen
I was offered the mold for a race Bronco shell years ago. Originally for the Ashley Bronco if I remember right.

Doesn't a members race bronco have a light alluminum shell? Thought I remember reading a while back.

Re: Michael Cox's Street Queen
Thank you everybody.
C.s. drums ... 35" tire
Suspension tuning; I think she needs a skotch more compression front and rear and softer springs up front and a Lil slower rebound up front. Its still night and day better than where I've first started and I have learned some about shock tuning so that's a plus. Now I just need to learn to build third members!!
Looks like I'm "racing" lol at Elsinore on October 11 if anyone wants to come down.

Do what's next? Full floater, 35 spline?
I'm pretty impressed that the stock 31spline held up to the 6.0 and 35s. I have been back and forth between going 37s or 35s with my 35spline Semi float axle.
