I kinda want to play the city game back at them, oh it doesn't help matters that my neighbor straight across is a sheriff lieutenant and his wife is a teacher. They have a spare veihicle that hasent moved in 7 months I could complain about it harboring a rat infestation and I'm concerned for the well being of all neighbors due to Black Plague and rabies concerns.
This has my vote!!

Ya I'm going thru the bed like a truck with a simple sealed bedcage for now, ill tie into the roll cage when I get that far, I'm going to parallel the rear seats angle and add a tire mount behind that. Tool box n parts bin on one side and jack n fluids on the other. Should be cool so long as the dash stuff isn't as big of a pain as I anticipate. I also need to revalve the c/o's and build a single swing set.

Here's a pic of the new meats and a similar bedcage idea but I'm shooting for outside the frame rails.

Trying to make this a discussion about law enforcement= not cool. Neighbors telling me I can't work on my own cars on my own property= not cool. I respect the crap out of police do and what they endure on a daily basis. I admire the bravery of law inforcement And respect the burden of keeping scum bags off the street. i have no appreciation however for the infringement of my rights and encase u diddnt know Not everyone can afford a mechanic broseph :). U can rent me an industrial unit when your ready.

If u wanna know kel, the above implication was actually aimed at the teacher, like me being some kind of disruption in her class room. That would make a lot more sence than a sheriff getting upset cause I have a hobby.

I've had the city put notices on my trash cans, trailer and motorhome before. Sure I think it's BS that I can't park my flat bed trailer on MY driveway but hey that's the neighborhood that I chose to live in. I was even hassled by a city code enforcement guy driving by my house because a roofer was on the roof repairing a leak. He wanted to see a building permit like I was adding another freaking story or something. LOL. I work on all my own cars so no need to go there. How do you even know someone called you in? City officials do occationally browse through streets to find stuff like that. Sorry to derail your thread a bit I just have a problem with people making negative comments about law enforcement and felt something needed to be said. Besides, your complaints should be aimed at the city not your neighbors. Carry on. Sweet build.
