I like the one in the front. May have to put one of those in mine. I'll have to notch around the 4x shifter though. Good work.

Kel- You know it's kinda funny. The back by itself with the stock front looks good. The expedition front with no back looks good also. But when I look at both of them together..... I just can't put my finger on it. I'm going to leave them both in for a day or two and see how I feel after that.

Robert- I thought about the paint because I used it before on my old dually, it worked really well. But I can't decide if I should paint the console to match the dash? Or paint the dash to match the console. I'm so confused

hrmmm...the console matches the seats right?....I'd only paint the dash if you really LOVE the console...

So, I liked the pics you posted so much that i had to get mine setup the same. i found one on craigslist and picked it up yesterday. Good idea, these center console's are perfect for a bronco. Thanks.

That's awesome, post some pics!! I altered mine. I'll post pics when I get back from vacation. But I added 2 charging stations for the wife on the passenger side and mounted my race radio also. It looks pretty good.

Jose's 94

Post by crisis88 »

Ok so here are the most recent pics of the center console. I ditched the rear console. I added a charging station in each of the little side cubbies for the rear passengers. And I am going to be taking my seats back out so my upholstery guy can add little side cell phone pockets on each seat.

I installed my race radio, and added 2 12v ports on passenger side.

I am happy for now. So the console will stay for now.

Jose

Kel. I made my own mounting bracket using the 3 stock bolt holes. I used the compartment as a mounting point and the cup holder part as another mounting point. It's not 100% secure and I am going to change the mounting again, but it will hold for now. As I am going to pismo for the remainder of the week on vacation, this will just have to do.

D1cker1, unfortunately the expedition and bronco don't have the exact same dash lines. They are close but not exact. So this is as close as I got it this time around. I really don't plan on getting a nav anytime in the future.

Looking good Jose! Did you end up dropping in a new radiator?
I'm just here for the views. It helps me feel wanted.

Here is one of the pics from our recent pismo trip. I'm surprised how well the bronco did in the dunes. I haven't been in the dunes with a full size 4wd truck for quite a while. I was quite pleased. I can't wait for the next trip.

Thanks,
Jose

No I didn't get the radiator yet. I did have mine flushed but that was a waste of money, and time. The problem I'm having, is the bronco gets hot when running the AC. But AC off and it runs right in the middle no matter what. No problems... I'm pretty pissed about it now. I just ordered a new water pump, and timing cover. Probably going to order the all aluminum radiator you pointed out at summit. I can get the one you have, but no offense, I don't want to go thru what you went thru  (how is this one now?) any other ideas it can be? If this doesn't work I'm not sure what direction I'm going to go..

On the other hand if your radiator is good, I may just get it now....

Thanks,
Jose
