My bad I thought you were referring to the center console picture. I just bolted it to the sheet metal with some big washers.

Update-
2 steps forward 1 step backwards... Had a wiring issue. When i turned on the A/C controls, the rear window switch or the 4x4 switch all the lower indicator lights lit up. After a few hours we got it figured out. The ground for the cluster is bad. Dash is coming back out.. agian, loom apart... again, repair the ground at the source then put it all back together... AGAIN. Love this hobby all this bull$#!+ makes you appreciate it in the end.

The front is all assembled and torqued (lost a fingernail in the process) minus the bumps, anyone know what size the nut is on the top of 2.5 King bumps?

NO new seals. We'll see if the old ones leak first. I do want to get some sliding rear windows.

Just drove around the neighbor hood! Cannot express the happiness I felt, after 15 years of dreaming and the last 2 years of building, to finally drive it! Didn't have the rear shocks on cause I got impatient and I still need to allign the front but it was awesome. One thingI need help with-

Where do I want to put the coil slider stop in relation the the slider at ride height?

The hard way is measure the gap between each rung of the coil spring, multiply that gap and you'll have a number. This number is a ballpark before the point if coil bind. The softer coil will supposedly come to full compression first but your goal is to limit the coil rungs from colliding with eachother aka coil bind. Springs gotta go somewhere when bound like that and it's usually out the side in the form of a bent or broken coil spring. Me I just said ya that looks about right n ran with it lol.

U could do the same by measuring the coil spring wire diameter n multiplying it plus the thickness of the top n bottom points where the spring material overlaps and use that number as a full compression spring dimension also. Then place the coil slider stop ring according to a point just before coil bind.

I cant find it but i remember reading that 1'-1.5" about the slide at ride hieght. The its supposed to not only limit you coil from binding but also keep the body roll down. Right?

Ok so u made the mistake of doing a bunch of stuff at once and now something isn't working and i don't know where to start.
Truck: 94 , 5.8 , e4od (94 Raptor Killer build thread.

Problem: It is going into reverse and drive fine, it wont shift out of 1st, in drive it seems to just start slipping once it hits 4000-4500rpm. In first it seems to stay in first. Also there is a buzzing that comes on under the dash intermittently. The speedo and other guages work.

List of modifications that might be the issue:

Art Carr shifter
punisher valve body
vss relocator
4.88 gears
Put the stock cluster in fiberglass dash
Removed ABS computer and pump, jumped VSS as explained on several forums

I spoke with Paul, Punisher Valve Bodies, and he said possibly a bad psom or that it needs to be tuned to the new gears.

I have worked for 2 years without driving this thing and its eating me alive to get this fixed. Any advice is greatly appreciated and compensation in beer or ? is offered if you are in the north county san diego area and want to come by and help me out.

Thanks Yikes! I think I got the problem worked out. I talked to Paul, punisher VB, and aparently my 94 has a 95 tranny so I have the wrong valve body. The right one is on its way. Also Paul also let me know about a issue with the winters shifter. The selector shaft the is included w/ the shifter doesn't allow for proper allignments of the shifter position sensor. So between those to issues my trans was very confused.
