Sounds like a plan - and like advice I should take - hahahaha
As for the shock mount - mark's setup is nice for sure, but I know you could build something as well. Either way will turn out good. Just a matter of which way you decide to go. I've been in the same "build it and save a little cash or buy it and save a LOT of time" predicament recently!
