Re: D1cker1 93 Build "The Croc"
The dash switch is independent of the rear. If it rolls down with the gate open someone was modified it. I own a glass shop and have worked on a few of these. Most people bend the rear gate handle from not rolling the rear window down all the way. The rear has a semular motor as the doors. If you ever have a front window that you can just pull up or down its a easy fix. You can take the motor out and scrape the plastic chewed up balls out of it and drop some 10mill nuts in it or some ball bearings.

Re: D1cker1 93 Build "The Croc"
Actually the dash switch is not independent of the rear... The dash switch has to be working in order for the tailgate switch to work. The tailgate switch doesn't have to work in order for the dash switch to work though.

When I was recently figuring out why my tailgate switch didn't work I went ahead and jumped the safety closed latch switch on the tailgate. This wasn't what was wrong with mine but I did it anyways to avoid headache later. Super easy, just cut the two wires going to that switch connect them together.

It starts..
Drove it around the block.
Looking for glass that will accommodate 4.5 over.
Not doing a whole lot with it until summer.

Re: D1cker1 93 Build "The Croc"
Hey I have what is probably a dumb question on your circuit diagram--- is the rear window circuit able to go up and down like a new vehicle can by just pushing the lever up or down once? Was this an option or something aftermarket you add to the circuit??
