1.5 ton is fine. I think Giant sells skids and mounts.

It would be a tight fit but it just might work. I dont know if it would clear with a 35" spare though. I hoping to switch to 35's this year.

What jacks are you guys using? I want to run a aluminum style race jack and build a skid for it. Im thinking possibly the harbor freight aluminum 1.5 ton to keep the cost down but it might be a bit under powered for the bronco...Opinions?
It might be a tight fit, depending on the jack of choice.

Man that looks awesome! I really like the way it came out. Its making me reconsider having carpeting in my Bronco.. this seems like the right way to go since it will be easier to hose out after a trip to the dunes or desert.

Went to shoot the shit with Bobby at solo for a bit today and he showed me their beam pivots for the broncos ...These things are bad ass and are definately on my list of must haves! I should have snap a few pics to share with you guys. I got alot accomplished after work today. I Installed the new race radio (Icom V8000) and built a trans mount and got it all installed...Feeling very productive today! Im getting ready for the SNORE PCI 300 in ridgecrest this weekend, is anyone else going?

Heres a pic of the trans mount, it just replaces the factory mount. I built some poly motor mount similar to the auto fab ones a few months back and figured i should do the same for the trans mount.

Had a good time at the Ridgecrest race this last weekend with the exception of frying the ac clutch on the way out. The race car did pretty well with only a few set backs, carb jetting and a broken torsion bar. I was goint to attach some images of the bronco and race car but I keep getting a error that says the board attachment quota has been reached...

Thanks Guys! Ive really been procrastinating with the shock swap because im so pleased with how well its handling now. Kurt over at DC shock services really knows what hes doing and should be able to get the valving pretty close off the bat as he did with my current setup!

I woke up this mornign and dove right into the bronco. I got the 3.0's installed with minor tweaking (had to kick in the upper mounts about 1.5" so the bypass tubes wouldnt hit the frame during articulation). I also went down to Solo and cut out all the brackets for the bumps & spring plates "Thanks Bobby". My new favorite tool is the iron worker, i used the helll out of the nibbler and it sure made life easy! I got the passenger side bumpstop completely mounted up and painted and also reinforced/gusseted the spring plates as as the air bumps will be bumping the tops. Heres a couple pics.

The moon looked awesome tonight and I had to snap a few shots with my latest toy Canon 7d... I love the pictures i can take with this beast!

Happy Cinco De Mayo guys!
