Hey DT, Stock tank, stock location.

Ryan, it's a Jonny and CHO special, all custom.

I believe they have saved both bumper/carrier and skid assembly in CAD for future production.

Why did you have a new support made? Is it hinged?

Nice work by the guys yet again. That bumper is sweet. Oh and every time I see that big layout table I'm reminded I really need to drill & tap mine. That thing makes me jealous!

not sure exactly what you're asking DT, but the swinger for the carrier is new bc I am selling the old bumper and its carrier complete.

latch to the left, spindle/hinge assembly to the right.

will get more pics up when i pick up the bronco.

this pic also shows how CHO wrapped the bumper around the quarter for protection (and he did a perfect job matching the rock sliders)

I believe Will (DT) was asking why the new gas tank skid/protection

And I dislike your build greatly and still dislike you for snatching up those sliding side windows before I got them.

I'm sorry Rob, I've got good news though; I have another pair of sliding windows stowed away.

They arent the same as the ones I am running- which are the most common type I've seen; the CR Laurence aftermarket ones, which utilize the stock window gaskets.

The other pair I have are factory, early 80s. They have a steel frame all the way around, and have their own unique gaskets.
I think the're better, sturdier and when installed they show less gasket and the glass area is slightly larger.
They need one piece of hardware for pass side latch, some soap, some tint and fresh felt and theyd be tip top.

Let me know if youre interested, I'll make you a smokin deal to try to make up for the other set I snaked!!

and DT,

the reason for the gas skid is I have had contact with our local terrain in each of my last few runs- so I figured better safe than sorry.

as with most stuff on this truck, it's purpose built, as I like to do my best to keep up with my Pop in his early bronco.
keeping it stock width, running sliders and skids, and plate bumpers, all steps to try to help squeeze through tight spaces...

(and.... Richer did such a badass job on the skids and front bumper, why not have CHO finish things off the right way?)
