Re: Jose's 94
You will love 4.88 then
Re: Jose's 94
Ya. Pretty crazy. I'm happy with it. It had so much slop. Even shifts were sloppy.
I don't think I would be happy with 4:88's. I drive 100-150 miles a day in it. And I'm not sure how it would be driving to places like pismo. Next spring we are taking it to Yosemite also. So I was trying to be conservative on the gearing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure 488's would have been a blast. But for the price. I couldn't risk having to re-do it. Lol.

So how's the smell now after a couple days of not being in it?
Re: Jose's 94
Nevermind, just saw you just dropped it off this morning, and no edit...
Re: Jose's 94

Such a great looking truck!
Re: Jose's 94
Thanks guy.
@ Brian I don't do this myself. The care ash in Redlands by krikorian always does it for me. Haha.
As far as the hood hinge. It broke off the firewall again. I'm going to have to tray and reinforce it somehow.

Re: Jose's 94
No. Cage then glass hood. My Steel hood doesn't fall off anymore now that the cage keeps all the flex away.tcm glx wrote:Glass hood.......crisis88 wrote: It broke off the firewall again.
Re: Jose's 94
Done and done.
Hopefully next week I can find some help to pull my hood off and fix my stupid hinge.... Again.

Re: Jose's 94
Suede or vinyl paint? 2 tone looks rad.
Re: Jose's 94
Thanks guys. Suede just like the headliner.
It's going to suck tearing this interior apart when I decide to cage it. I hope it goes back the same way it comes out.... Haha.
