Re: 95 Bronco Build!
That definitely hurt.....
I'm just here for the views. It helps me feel wanted.
Re: 95 Bronco Build!
If that's you taking it easy I'd hate so see what happens when you're balls to the wall
Re: 95 Bronco Build!
My buddies camp fire story was that I hit it doing 40 mph. Kind of got me thinking that if I had actually hit it at 40 and stayed on the gas, I could have possibly just jumped all the way to the next dune. My wife even said it was pretty weak, but she did ride with me in my old Toyota that could take a healthy romp.
Re: 95 Bronco Build!
Been tossing around ideas lately. I'm thinking about doing a smog (I'm due up) and then ditching my egr/smog components. I have a smog and registration connection, as well as friends and family in Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. I'm pretty much set as far as that goes. ABS is also definitely coming off.
Down the road, I'm thinking that along with the C6 & 9 inch I have, a simplified harness & a carb might be in my future. I'm all about simplicity in the dirt.

Let me know if you are interested in a 4.56 geared 9" diff and all the stuff to swap in a full reverse manual valve body C6 including a cooler, the shifter, trans, temp gauge, etc. basically everything to get it together!

And the build continues. Picked these up for the front.
New beams are under construction, can't wait to get it back on its feet. Kind of looking down the road at rear suspension. I don't think shocks under the floor are going to cut it!-

Good color choice for those front shocks! We're getting better over at swayaway so hit me up for all your shock needs!

Thanks, I've always liked Sway Aways, this is about the 6th set I've owned.lugobean wrote:Good color choice for those front shocks! We're getting better over at swayaway so hit me up for all your shock needs!
I'm sure you hate to hear this question, but is there a good solution for the older shocks with rust?

I am happy with my old swayaways/kusters and I recommend them to my customers.

Re: 95 Bronco Build!
We just replated a set for the Shirley's (they were racing at king of the hammers) but otherwise scotchbrite and wd40. That's the problem with trying different plates and companies is you never quite know what's gonna happen with corrosion

Truck has been collecting dust for too long. Looking like a Threat kit is going to go on the front. Anyone interested in some Camburg radius arms?

What happened? I thought you were building your own beams.

I just don't have the time. Too busy with other people's trucks I guess.
