i have no pics of recent work but i i do have an update or two.
i redid my exhaust sytem and now have true dual exhaust .it was fun rerouting around and above the front d-shaft and transfercase! but it is done,i mounted the tubes to tabs that bolt to either side of the case so there is more support on them and it moves with the motor and not against it.
and i actually half assed rebuilt the front bypass' and started to draw up a new shackle so i can start getting the rearend done.
i have a trip this month to prerun and do some work with the BLM on safty,pit locations,and EMS extraction points for some upcoming stuff in easter oregon.
so it has been crunch time getting it ready for a few hundred miles of dirt.
but i will posting pics up later in the week of some of the crap i've been doing

got back from a great trip to eastern oregon. got my rear shocks mounted thanks to Mike for sending my shafts and being so cool about me slacking on sending his parts back...
some of the roughest terrain that i have taken this bronco through. the only issue i hadwas the upper front shock mount had wobbled out a bit(single shear)
and added to musical melodey of all the bypass tubes and rear hiem noise.
160 dirt miles and 661 total miles. after all that i took the kids to school and went grocery shopping in it monday...

im waiting on my buddy's write up on our trip and i'll post it up in the event section....

its been a while since i posted updates so i figured i would...did some more cage work,and some serious abuse this past weekend,
went to Paisley to work on the race course planning and while doing that, i drove this bronco like i was racing it a few times.in the dust full throttle using the gears in the c-6 and pounding the suspension. it rattled it self loose in alot places and i wobbled out one of my front shock mounts(yes single shear) BUT i drove home in it. i have a renewed love for this crappy looking cobbled together bronco.while out with Jaime's bronco and TL racings work of art linked bronco, it was fun.
i am no longer "ashamed" of some of the not upto net-fabbed dime stacked welds i have layed on my "hurry up and get it ready" parts i have made.
i no longer care what it looks like or what people think,i know what it can do and the scary fast capabilities of the work i have done.
it is time for me to give this thing a rest and give it some spa time and a vacation from abuse. next couple of weeks i am tearing the rear end out and re doing the whole rear suspension and finishing out the tube work.then saving up for new rear axles for the wider rearend and building a whole new front end.
i will have a few more pics of the stuff once i get unloaded and take a leaf blower to get the inch of silt out of the thing

Scott you have no reason to feel bad in the first place, I would rather have what you would call "cobbled together" that performs and serves it purpose over an awesome looking fab job that doesn't perform. Its like ugly or fat girls know what they are doing and the hot girls don't lol

Leaf blower in the bottom pic? I used one on mine and it helped quite a bit before breaking out the damp rags.

Rock on Scott!! Don't need perty to go fast. Glad to see you giving that beast a workout. Must feel good! Super jealous. Some of your pictures make me want to move back to Oregon.

yes Jaime a blower was used,but i still could close the doors and have a cloud in the cab haha not really a big deal,next week the carpet is coming out again and the bed is getting cut up a little so i can fit some stuff.

Way to go Scott! You know what mine isn't that pretty, its alot of spray paint and mixed welds but it holds together well!

got my leafs installed, was not fun like it should be.....
grinder to the knuckle bone........
puncture to my tricept on my left arm,bled like was a stuck pig looked like someone got murdered in my garage.....
but after all that it is done,lol
i am going to be re doing my shock ounts and using a lever type arm and it is liimited to 17" right now due to my current shock mount. ride is a little stiff and i thought i would have a lot more body roll with the 2.5 springs but i dont so no 3 wheelies...

going to take it out and run the crap out of it weds.....
leafs are 61" 13leaf nationals, i had to move the front hanger and extend the shackles to get back to my disired ride hieght i will get more pics this week...

oh yea took it on the freeway today, people were looking at me funny cuz i had my goggles on. only because i still have a TON of silt lingering it was hard to see....

135 to my house...weird it sat for sale for so long.but i guess not to many desert people would want one. i have wanted one for years but never had the right deal show up. they wholsale for 290 with nothing this came with 1 wheel probe and a conditioning box(which i dont need) so i just need to pick one more probe for a spare and im going to use the speedo sensor they have for them as my primary then the wheel probe for secondary.

Nice! I knew it was for sale for a while. I got some hells off the guy the 1st time he posted it. My buddy picked one of those up at the swap meet (hot rod one here - not LeDuc) for $25 a bunch of years back. That was a steal!
