Haven't seen any heat issues with the transmission since the skids. its been a number of years since i added them.

Worth noting the E4OD had a full rebuild with all the goodies a few years back and I run an external cooler (B&M maybe?) with a puller fan that comes on at 200 degrees or thereabouts.
I added a manual switch too which I will engage when it's warm out.

It's increasingly rare to see OBS era rigs with all the shiny new yotas, jeeps and raptors on the trails these days.

even moreso with the early broncos. seems most spend their days at cars and coffee on the coast.

thankfully my old man and buddy Shawn (the yellow one) get theirs dirty and put em through their paces.

I tell them I am the luckiest guy out there- I get to watch the prettiest and coolest looking rigs while enjoying the comforts of the big bronco!

Haha me too, I’m tired of the floppy plastic factory mirrors, but I love the way they look. I wish someone made a metal reinforcement for them or even a metal replacement to minic the OEM style

Back with some updates; mostly high labor and low reward, unless you have serious OCD.

Cleaning up the axles, suspension, framerails every few years has been part of keeping the bronco they way I like it.

Under the hood is a different story and something I have been putting off for years.
It's a ton of prep and bitch work but things were getting nasty.

I had the passenger side bassani header fail during the last run of the season so I knew the time had come to dive in.

Looks great! That's a ton of work to clean that all up - and all that masking work. Did you clean the engine block/heads at all?
