Nice, I have toyed with the idea of doing my own 9" full floater. I hope to get a new fixture table this next year and it would be perfect to keep everything straight while welding things together. I need more practice on my TIG welder, but hope to do it all with the TIG.

Did you use a alignment bar inside? I plan to use one if I do mine and I can turn the tube pucks to center the bar. I got the idea from the axle narrowing kit's I was seeing on Ebay.

I want 3.5" tubes and the end goal is 71" wms to wms to match my +3 per side front.

I have a ton of other work, before I get to the rear axle. I can run my current 9" that is 3" tubes and stock width with a truss I had Currie do new about 20+ year's ago.

Yes I used an alignment bar I have 6 pucks per side I believe. Im shooting for 74’’ to match my front width I have 3” .25 wall tubes on this one. It should be plenty strong for here in Michigan.

Picked up my trailing arms last weekend Thursday I cleaned my barn and moved the bronco to the middle of the floor. I also started mocking up my link brackets on the frame side. This location should get me to about 112” wheel base.Image

Well been picking away at this some lately.
I removed all the rear suspension still need to cut off the front hangers but the rear are goneImage
Cut a hole to figure out shock placement. I still need to buy a bypass yet.
Image
I will end up notching the frame to get everything up higher but been waiting for weather to get colder so I could start working on this again.

Pulled my Gen1 Coyote out and put a low mileage gen 2 in. The control pack is much easier for the gen 1 than gen2 I made some trans line adapters and got my cooler temporally hooked up. I also ran my fuel line to the front. I decided 35’s were too small and decided to sell them for 37’s…. I couldn’t find any good deals on nice used ones so I ended up with a set of 40’s. Been picking away at this along with my dads early Bronco prerunner we are finishing

Haven’t updated this in a while. Been working on it a lot and have gotten a lot of things done. Aftermarket center section with 35 spline spool and 5.13 gears set up. Started my fast/ council started some bumpers rear shock mounts seat mounts trans crossmember picked up some 2.5x12 kings fir the front. Next I plan on tying the engine cage into the main cage. Currently waiting on my rear bypasses and exhaust kit to come in
