95 Bronco Build!
Well plans changed & the Bronco build returns!
3.0x14 up front
3.0x18 in the rear with short course style links
Going to have the rear shocks behind a full width bench.
44 gallon carb stamped fuel tank
May keep the Tubeworks housing, may sell it for something simpler
Probably going to pick up some 17" Racelines
Leaning towards 39's
Going to keep it fairly simple & shoot to have it in the dirt by this fall

Packaging less than optimal for short course style links. Your frame is in the way, articulation is not your friend.

I'M ALL JACKED UP ON MOUNTIN DEWwwwww!
Re: 95 Bronco Build!
Well, I've got no constraints in the rear, no floor and I'm wide open as far as design goes. If I has to section out some frame, I'm ok with thatBDKW1 wrote:Packaging less than optimal for short course style links. Your frame is in the way, articulation is not your friend.

Re: 95 Bronco Build!
Even with no frame, it's a pain. When you get the upper mounts on the axle far enough out to get some good strenght out of them, there isn't much room between them and the tire. Articulation will eat up that room very quickly.
Mike Jacobsons TT was set-up this way. Even though we had almost 1" of clearance all around when cycling it in the shop, it still wound up with gouges in the frame tube from the bolt heads. Amazing how much that shit moved.

Re: 95 Bronco Build!
Been a minute since I've made a legit update on the Bronco, but here it is. Going to chip away at lacing it all in now. There are a few missing tubes in the cab area that I pulled to clean up. When I originally stretched this thing, I had the hopes of making a stock F150 Bedside work. The location of the wheel well did not quite work out, so now I have hybrid F150/Bronco bedsides, point of my story is that my stretch is officially at 15". Pretty pumped on how it's coming along.

Re: 95 Bronco Build!
Picked up some new to me Corbeau seats. If I can make it work, the plan is to build a center console that will also be tabbed for the 3rd seat.
