Re: 92 Project
Thanks everybody! Really appreciate it. Looking forward to hitting some dirt! Tail lights are from Tony. They are bad ass! Headlights are from Cardin or something like that. I like them because they are one piece and has some led running lights. The hids in them are only 35 watt. I should have got 55watt. Due to them being halo style I would go 55 watt if anybody gets some. I am looking forward to get an amber 3rd brake light from Tony here soon for my dust light. Suppose to be a direct fit to OEM.
One question I have for anybody out there, running these 37s is putting strain on my power steering pump. I have been doing some research on what to get. Any suggestions.

Truck looks really great! Love the dual swinger steering as well. Every time I say I not a LED lightbar fan I see one that just looks great- yours looks killer.
As far as your steering is concerned-- I'm guessing you are bone stock now? I just did the 95 van saginaw conversion and it was super easy- even the factory belt fit. Only thing I did extra was swap the factory hoses for all -AN stuff. The beauty of the saginaw is every good pump builder out there can do all kinds if things to juice up the saginaw pump to desired presuures.

Thank you Vintage! I see people using that 95 van pump. Is that pump produce more pressure then the stock bronco pumps or something? Also did you re-gear your steering box or anything? What size tires do you run?VintageIronFab wrote:Truck looks really great! Love the dual swinger steering as well. Re: 92 Project
Well first off I have ZERO miles on my new steering. The saginaw pump I do believe has more pressure and does have a better overall design than that of the Ford design. The bracket bracket I bought came with the pump and the pump had a reman sticker on it so I am going to try it out. Now that the air is out of it (the psc method seems to work pretty good btw for bleeding air out of the system) there is no whine or groan like the Ford pump has. This is just me but with a truck as killer as yours. If I were to spend the time to put and money for a new full race steering box I would run a 4 bolt GM box whole heartedly. I say that because there are plenty of guys on here that talk about the sector shaft being an issue. To get you by though a good reman saginaw pump and bracket is nice, easy upgrade.

Re: 92 Project
Vintage, thanks for the info. I have looked into the Lee pump set up with re-geared steering box and maybe ram assist. Very nice but expensive. So not sure what I am going to do yet.
Andy. Thank you! Mcneil did the steering and paint.

Re: 92 Project
So I have the same fiberglass as you do and I want to do what you did and run a two inch spacer in the rear for now until I get a 9" so I fill out my glass
Where did you buy your spacers ? Even though I'll probably take them off when I go play around I'm trying to find ones that aren't from ebay haha. I'd rather not have them break on me

Call mc Motorsports in lake Elsinore. Talk to Steve, he will make any spacers you need. Specify hubcentric as well.Tanner287 wrote:So I have the same fiberglass as you do and I want to do what you did and run a two inch spacer in the rear for now until I get a 9" so I fill out my glass

Put on some new drilled and slotted rotors this weekend with some Green EBC pads. Will be changing out master cylinder this weekend then try these babies out!
