So, many of you have had the chance to hang with my brother either at the Baja, or Leduc.... you will all remember he had a FJ Cruiser. Well, recently, finally he sold it and has come over to the dark side. Thanks to a ton of coersion from Chris, and myself... we got him into a FSB! Special thanks to Nick for the lead on a great rig.

Out with the FJ:



In with the Bronco




Bronco:
96 Ford Bronco 5.8
XLT, black with Grey Leather
4.56 gears, Auburn Locker
2.5" Rough Country Lift
Deaver F64 Rears (with 3 leaf packs removed, but I have those)

Game plan is as follows:
It has a few maintenance issues.. gonna have those taken care of this week.

Immediately:
Install Race Radio Kenwood tm-271
Install Lowrance Baja 480

Phase 1:
Front and Rear Pre Run Bumpers
35" BFG all terrains
Powder Coat the wheels in Bronze (like the Camburg truck)

Phase 2:
Camburg Stage 1 front end (Dual 5100s, coils, Radius Arms and Cut/Turns)
Deaver F53 Rear
Camburg Shackles
7100s Rear

Then drive it to San Diego and give it to my brother Vic. Let him enhoy for a few months...... then move on to more on it!

Im curious to see the wheels in bronze.

Looks clean as hell Tony. How many miles? Were the mirrors and grill painted or is it a sport?

120K miles.... very clean. The mirrors and grill were all black, so it appears to be a sport. Drives reallly solid too, no squeaks, feels tight.

very nice bronco. when you are ready to part with the front bumper id really like to buy that off you and if you could save the mounts too that would be awesome. i think the truck looks really clean....

So, we did a few things to the bronco over the weekend:
Added 35" BFGs
Camburg Stage 1 LT kit
Deaver F53s
Bilstein 5100s
And a paint job

Damn now that's some serious upgrades Tony, ha ha. Any pics of Tio Vic's ride out at the race this weekend?

Hope your brother likes the Bronco. This was the first time I got to drive my "old" Bronco off road after I got the suspension kit.....and I LOVED IT!! I was thinking I was just going to trade Bronco's and leave this one stock so the wife has something to drive.........Well, after seeing EVERYONES Bronco lifted and looking cool, the Monster starts all over again....THANKS FOR THAT!!!!! Have fun and be nice to her, she's always been a good runner for me.........now, anyone got a good lead on some Camburg radius arms??????

Anyways, so here is the story, bought the black Bronco, after harrasing Rory to sell me his, and getting a consistent NO. I bring home the black one, and the day after, Rory calls and says, I have changed my mind... I am like WTF!!!! I just bought a Bronco... so after a few phone calls, a trade was set up and a price agreed upon. Rory and his wife are now the proud owners of the black one, and my brother know owns Rorys!

So...RED is pretty well setup already, Camburg Stage 1 with dual 5100s in the front. Game plan is to build a rear bumper for it this week, and hopefully do a rear shock crossmember as well (Props to Pirate Lab, they are going to prototype one, I will keep everyone posted if the decide to produce a few extras.). Rear crossmember will be for some 9100s.... then p-coat the bumpers, install Lowrance (nick, my brother still has the unit you sold him believe it or not!) install race radio... and off to the Baja 500!!

Did it come with a free Racer's Only T-Shirt???? J/k That's one nice ride Tony.

As a matter of fact, Rory did hook me and my bro with a couple t shirts!! Part of the deal!
