NC go fast-kind of

Post by gr8brnc »

Hi guy's,
I followed you here from FSB. I do a lot of reading but not a ton of posting. I just love getting ideas for my rig. I was stationed at NAS North Island (San Diego) in the late 80's and fell in love with the dessert go fast stuff. Back then I had all the mods on my ranger done at a place called Pacific Off Road in El Cajon. The stuff back then is nothing like today!!! I used to spend any free weekend I could out at Glamis and loved it.

I now live in North Carolina where everyone is into mud and rocks but I never lost my love for the desert. I am currently building a 96 Bronco that is inspired by a desert pre runner and all of you guy's. I already have the autofab fenders on it and people around here have never seen anything like it. Since I really have no sand to play in I am building my Bronco as a kind of go anywhere do anything truck that looks like a pre runner. It will only see mild playing so I am not doing the full cage and all of that, instead I will be keeping the creature comforts.

Glad I found you guy's!

Welcome aboard! There was a guy from your part of the country that did the full Autofab treatment to his bronco, suspension, glass the works. If you go to the Autofab website, and look under customer rides, you will see pics.

Have fun with your build, and start a thread in the rides section.

Actually, the truck is from Kansas. Here's a pic, and a description.

Kevin Carters bad ass bronco. Kansas look out! Autofab front and rear wheel travel kits, Autofab FF203 front fenders, FH203 stock style hood, and BS303 rear quarter panels.

It's easy, just give it a shot. If you need any help, PM me. I've got to take some new pics of my truck and upload them, too.
