I am Trever Leach as you can see. I have a 94 ford f150 as my race truck and going to start building a 93 bronco as a family wagon/ prerunner.

I live in Thousand Palms and don't know what else to say

Yes sir. I am trying to keep this as a basic build (to my standards) and make the wife happy. I am also selling my race truck to build a new podium finisher as 7 years ago I could podium races but now have to have a TT to race lol. Stay tuned and will start a build thread soon

Because everyone hated when I put a chevy in my truck. Now it's the norm. I built muscle cars and street rods before and it was nothing new. Ford makes it but chevy shakes it. Built ford tough with chevy stuff lol

Not everyone. As you said - it's very much old hat to hot rod guys.

Or guys who are all about the best part for the job at the best price, rather than caring more about who made the part.

That is exactly it. I can't wait to see when the new 5.0 is a dime a dozen for transplants. I have always had chevys and decided to build a ford. Well now I am going to keep building fords lol
