Big dreams, small wallet... LOTS OF TIME! lol
Lookin forward to chattin with y'all!

LOL... yeah, they're BONZAI Junipers... kinda weird, but he's old and lonely and very nice, so we don't bug him about his weird trees.ChaseTruck754 wrote:Welcome. Can't wait to see the builds.
Side note: your neighbor has a weird taste in trees...
I don't have any pics of when it was in its "prime", but I do know the original owner, so I'm trying to get some from him. That EB carries a lot of history and memories for so many people in the NW. It was not a racer, but one heck of a crawler.BDKW1 wrote:72 looks like an old racer, any pics from when it raced?
Just south of Portland.ChaseTruck754 wrote:oh, and a side note - where in Oregon?
Just curious as it's a nice place. Hopefully I'll be back up in Bend in April, but we'll see...
Welcome! There's a few of us here in Oregon.fireheadedone wrote:Just south of Portland.ChaseTruck754 wrote:oh, and a side note - where in Oregon?

That would be awesome. We do love EB's, especially if they have a good history.fireheadedone wrote:I don't have any pics of when it was in its "prime", but I do know the original owner, so I'm trying to get some from him.
And this one does! I've heard so many stories about how awesome it was. And warnings about how if I change the look of it, the "mob" will be after me! lol However, the mob doesn't quite understand that the tub is not salvageable enough to save, so I will be transforming it into MY style Bronco. But I'm sure in the end, they'll think it's pretty cool when a smart a$$ red head wheels it out onto the beach!BDKW1 wrote:That would be awesome. Oregon IS awesome! I complain about the rain, but really, it's gorgeous here!! We've got mountains, mud, sand, snow, desert, ocean.... and everything is SO green! I've thought about moving, but I can't bring myself to leave this place...there's just nothing like it. People are laid back too.Tchajagos wrote:Oh man, Oregon looks awesome.
When most Californians talk about moving up here it pisses everyone off, but I think we could make an exceptionChaseTruck754 wrote:yup. If I could find enough work to feed a family up there I may just move.
So, you're related to Ulysses S Grant? That's who Grants pass is named after, if i'm not mistaken.ChaseTruck754 wrote:Thanks! I can understand why though. MOST (or the voting majority I should say) Commiefornians piss ME off! Heck, they're a big part of the reason why I'd be leaving. Them & their voted in buffoons!
I think I'll let my father-in-law move up & pave the way. It's his place we stay at up there when we go currently since the family homestead in Grant's Pass got sold a few years back when my great grandfather died.
Oh, and that reminds me - it would be more like I'm coming back than a Commiefornian moving up. My grandmother was a Grant - in that line of Grants - so I have family ties. hahaha
Very cool!ChaseTruck754 wrote:winner winner!
Yup. He was my great, greatg, great, great (think that's the right number) grandfather.
