Correction - buy Convoy's old bronco for a bit over $15 and then go have fun.

Building one for $15 can be done but you may get bells or whistles - not both.

LOL... no Bronco for him... at least not right now

He's looking at....gasp....something a bit more practical for a little while and use some of the cash for home repairs...

He should be graduating at the end of the year, providing he can get the classes he needs, then he said we'd build something else

What's more practical than an SUV when you own a house?

There's a short list of cars that he'd drive now then his wife would take over after he graduates...

BMW 5353
Mercedes E320
Mini Countryman All
And a couple others

Anything German is not practical. Unless he like broken cars with overpriced repairs.

hahaha - LIKE!

And what every homeowner needs is a truck (try putting 10 sheets of drywall in that SUV!). Add a family & it's a crew cab that is needed. Good thing they are making them in OC parking lot navigable sizes these days!

the drywall would fit I think. loaded my buddies with lumber last weekend. Plus it had sport shift mode with the bump to shift so we felt like we were driving a race car!
