bronco f150 shackle hangers and shackles

Post by Kel Fab Creations »

I built this shackle/hanger combo for my bronco. The shackles are 7.25" center to center. The hangers are dropped just enough to fit this size shackles. Only been mocked up. The hangers have been painted semi gloss black. Setup for f150 width springs. I'm selling because I need longer shackles for my spring under setup. These will work great for a spring over setup. $375

Are these for a 2.5" or 3" spring?

unless it's a 4wd F-150 which is 3"...

which I believe was Slawson's point.

That being said I'm pretty sure Kelly made these for 2.5" wide springs, but I'll let him say for sure.

Sorry for the confusion guys. I was un aware that 4wd f150 springs were 3'' wide. These shackles have a 3" spread so they will work on a 2.5" spring. Sale pending...

Could you tell me where the hanger bolt hole compares to stock? In other words, is it higher or lower than stock and if so, by how much?

Thank you

The hanger pivot hole is lower than stock to allow for the longer shackle. I don't have a stock hanger to compare to but if you get under your truck and measure from the floor sheet metal directly above the hanger, the new pivot will be roughly 8.25" down from there. Make sense?

Yes, but are you talking from the bottom of the floor or the rectangular support in the floor, which is right above the hanger location? I just need to kow where to measure from.

Honestly im interested in the hanger. I hit you up months ago about them on your site but hadn't gotten to that point in the build at that time. The time has come that i could use them. Are you willing to seperate the hangers from the shackles?
