8.8 w ARB and 4.56's

Post by DMbronco »

Rear 8.8" Axle out of a 1996 Ford Bronco. Stock width fullsize for Bronco/F150.
VSS complete.

This axle was completely rebuilt just under 2 yrs ago, and has less than 5,000 miles on it, it received:

New ARB air locker, 4.56 ring and pinion, yukon axle shafts.

It has been trussed by Southwest Performance
tabbed for both SWP single link and Autofab 2 link,
tabbed for limit straps, tabbed for disc brake conversion if you want to do explorer upgrade in future,
ruff stuff spring perches are corrected for pinion angle for Deaver J40s with shackles and no wedges,
ruff stuff heavy duty diff cover 1/4" plate with increased cooling capacity and fill plug.
upgraded brake cylinders in stock drums with fresh shoes, fresh brakelines, e brakelines are intact.
housing is powdercoated semigloss black.

I will include switches and compressor for ARB for full asking price.

Located in San Diego, 1100 for the axle, or 1200 w ARB compressor and switches.

Bump for the guys building a stock width truck that want to have street manners!

I'll throw in a pair of Bilstein 5100s with the asking price as well as the compressor and switches.

Out of the truck, ready to go- located in Oceanside CA

If you ever felt like bringing that to Phoenix I'd take it in a heart beat.

hey '96, I actually have a trip planned in Nov, but I've gotta see if I can fit this thing in my Fusion lol. Let me pull a tape and get back to you.
Also have the original axle shafts that come along for backup

thanks for the offer B!
