Awesome project. I am growing on the 70s stuff.

If your sticking to round headlights, I have a HID setup for that which works awesome!!

Good man Chris!
Give me a list of parts you need as I have TONS of this stuff in my shop. I think I have all of what you listed already sitting here in my shop...

So I've heard... Any updates on my setup T? I may need the things for mock up soon. That is IF I can keep up my progress!!!!

Game plan is to get it going first. It runs, but needs some love. The overall plan for now is to make 'er a cruiser/fun truck. The Bronco is gonna stay my off road focus for now, but I wanna clean this truck up for puttin' around town and maybe Ocotillo or Super. Nothing fancy.......yet.

Steve, I'll get a list going for ya once I get it home. Probably next few weeks or so. New job is taking priority over everything right now. I still gotta hook up with ya for the C6. I think a trip up your way might be needed!

Tony, I'll definetly let you know about the HID goodies. Might be easier to go that route from the get go and not even mess with the OEM stuff. I'll keep in touch. Thanks to both of you guys for the assists!!

Just let me know Chris. I'm not sure how soon I would be coming down to Temecula and if you're open to a trip up here you might have some fun digging through the parts piles in my shop...

As for the headlights - not to steal from T - but I have all the stock stuff and it's pretty easy. Part of the reason I have this though is I'm going with stuff Tony advised me on headlight bucket wise and then his HID kits. That and I've parted 4 or so of these trucks so I have parts everywhere.

Nice truck man. Can't wait to see some progress on this. I got a 79 for my pops not to long ago almost in the same conditions. Easy trucks to work with though.

Hey Chris - turns out I MIGHT be in Temecula for a day the weekend of the 26th/27th. Not set in stone yet but there is a good chance. If I head down I can bring the tranny and some other parts if you want.

Steve,

If you're going out to Chris maybe you can hook a brother up and grab that front bumper for me since I didn't make it to Chris' house on Sunday. Thanks man.

I'd love to find something like this to bring back to Downunder. If its older than 30 yrs, I don't have to convert it to RHD! :D

There are RHD ones down the there though. I'd gladly trade you one of ours for one of yours - haha

Most fof them are long bed 2WD's and rusted out over priced sh@tboxes. A 4WD short bed with no rust and a 400 / 4 speed is perfect for what I want for a DD. :D I bet I can drive a LHD one faster than you can drive a RHD one, though..... :D :D :D

I'm sure you can drive faster. I've never tried RHD - although I'd really like to just to see what it is like.
