1992 F-150 Custom

This morning on my way to work I heard a weird noise. I checked underneath and noticed the u-joints on my driveshaft were the issue. I decided that after work j would take it off and get it fixed tomorrow. On my way home from work the u-bolt decided to break in the middle of the road. I pulled off to a safe spot and my little brother came to help me out. We pulled the drive shaft off on the side of the road, put my truck in 4x4 and drove the rest of the way home. Anyone know of a good driveline place in South Orange County?

Got great service at Drivelines Inc. in Lake Forest. Quick turn around time. My yolk, welded top, and flange all broke.

What's the length of your driveshaft if you don't mind me asking? Putting in the same motor as you and going to lengthen a bronco slip shaft.

T- are you changing to a brinco transfer case? If you all you don't need a CV rear shaft with a bronco tcase on a F150

Would it hurt if I used the bronco drive shaft? Trying to save money vs buying a whole custom shaft.

aren't the lengths different on bronco vs. F-150? We are talking rear shafts here - right?

Yea the bronco is way shorter. If you are using the bronco tcase the use of a ujoint style is quite a bit cheaper than a double cardon joint. Sorry to booger up your thread-same info I guess pertains to you Keenan.

Using a bronco t-case and driveshaft that I already have. Hoping to just get away with lengthening it to fit my short bed single cab. I have the same 5.8 and e4od as Keenan but it might be a little different because it's a fixed yolk t case and his is a slip yoke.

After replacing the drive shaft and putting in a new rear seal I noticed it was leaking. I thought it was from the seal sink got a new one. Looking into it I see a dent or knotch. Is this supposed to be there?

Ive been using the one off Via Fabricante in Mission Viejo for awhile now. Didnt know Lake Forest was still open. Its about the same distance from me.

After replacing my bushing and seal, which I though was the issue of the leak, my brother noticed that the actual housing was cracked. I know it's a long shot but do any of you have this I can have/buy? 1356 Transfer Case Extension Housing I believe it's called. With the slip yolk.
