Thank you guys.... That reworking of the frame horns and bumper bar.. skid, made me very happy I hope to get some new rear fiberglass fenders on this week and she will be ready for thanksgiving.

Truck is at "the fab" They are mounting a glass hood, front fenders , rear bedsides and rear fenders.

Ran across a 78 Step 4x4 local walked around it, all there, fairly straight, no info on the engine as the hood was locked with the factory hood lock. What is it worth down there with as a (?)351M and the C6 otherwise stock?

Worth depends on the rust of course & then the buyer.

78's have to be smogged in most areas down here & command a little less $$ due to that.

I've gotten 6 or 7 of the 7 or 8 of these trucks I've owned for under $1k. Most were in the $350-500 range.

...looks like little rust, clean straight may be fresh paint decent interior looks like a DD.

Around here the step is a fairly rare truck where I can get a short bed 4x4 for a grand or less, the step in this condition will be $5000 down; but an 80-up Bronco same condition is $1000 or less
