Thanks bud! I've been chipping away at it. I've got a few more mods done, and a couple others in progress. I need to get some more pics posted soon.

I just mounted up a Baja Designs S8 behind my grille with their mounting kit. The fit is great (way more room in front of the trans cooler than with the OnX6) and I love the look. The light output is pretty damn good too.

I also swapped in the Middle Eastern spec trans cooler while I was at it too.

I've started the process of swapping out the King 3.0's for Fox 3.0's. No issue with the Kings, I just prefer black anodized bits on this truck.

I did some pinch weld flattening in preparation for some bigger tires:

And then got the new Fox 3.0's installed with the taller ride height set, and the 37's installed.

Next up was a set of OEM projector housings. It's kinda sad....the output on these isn't as good as the aftermarket ones that I had Tony (TCM GLX) make me, but I prefer the charcoal gray inside the housing.

Thanks Robert! I think my favorite part about getting a new vehicle is cleaning up all the little stuff to get it all back to near new status.

The pinch weld pics? Those were shot before I swapped the Fox coilovers on.

I mounted up my GJ Motorsports third brake light/antenna mount and this thing is awesome! Very nice fit and finish, and well thought out.

I chose to run the 2 ambers off an up fitter switch, and the center S2 is running off the factory cargo light harness.

Looking very nice Taylor just like the F150. I appreciate the detail. Can I take you back to page 48 of your F150 build for some details about the Coverlay door panels?

http://www.gofastbroncos.com/forum/view ... &start=940

I need to start dressing the interior of Mom & Dad's Thanksgiving Bronco, and the Coverlay panels are going to be a part. Two things:

1) The color: "The door panels are the light gray color from Coverlay. I'm glad I called them and had them send me swatches because if I had to guess, I would have bought the medium gray." They sent me three little color strips of the grays......you say "swatch". Did you get something larger from them? Maybe I don't need them, assuming your F150 interior was the same Opal Gray or whatever the lighter later model Ford gray is. Did the panels match the rest of the interior?

2) Disassembled from Coverlay? "I had them ship the panels disassembled.....". Can you please elaborate on this? Since I plan to do the same thing at the upholstery shop I'd like to know more about the reason and/or benefit of this special request.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Jim - I can help- the panels are shipped unassembled so that they are easier to put together after all the custom stuff is done. For whoever reason coverlay wont allow you to send your coverings and have them do that at a higher cost. Make sure you look for the best shipped deal because all the ones out there are built after purchase.

Matt pretty much nailed it. I found the best price online, and then called Coverlay to make sure if I placed the order, I could call them afterwards and have them ship the panels unassembled. I made sure to get the name of the person I spoke with at Coverlay, and then placed the order with the online retailer, and then called that person back at Coverlay and make sure they noted it on the order. I'd look at Rock Auto. With their 5% discount codes that they always send out, their prices are the cheapest I can find.

I used to have the swatches stashed somewhere and will see if I can find them. If I can, I'll happily mail them your way so you can compare. Overall the light gray was a pretty damn good match.

I've been chipping away at a lot of projects on the rig lately. I snagged a set of taillights off Craigslist where the edges of the housings had been painted black. It's a small difference in the housings, but a HUGE improvement on a black truck IMO.

Before:

Side by side comparison of the taillights:

After:

Next was a new set of wheels. I've always liked the KMC Enduro beadlocks, so when a deal on a set of them came up locally, I jumped on them. I had them powder coated to match the OEM fender flares:

Here they are mounted on the truck. I'm really happy with how they turned out.
