Gave the toy a clean out today, all this sh*t came from in front of the LPG tank:

I was surprised how little dirt and rubbish was in the cab, all it needs is a good vacuum out and some elbow grease to clean up the dash, glass, etc.

I love an uncluttered engine bay, but the brake booster and M/cyl might be a problem for coilovers:

After straightening the bent accel pedal, repairing the melted accel cable and giving the gas system a tweak and the idle speed a minor adjustment, it goes much better now, no more flat spot coming off idle. I have found a few items needing attention: the pinion yoke on the diff is loose, the rear seal of the gearbox is leaking and it grinds badly in 3rd, and the brakes feel like the LHR drum is egg shaped, it shakes like a dog pooping basket balls under braking and the LHR wheel locks with the slightest provacation. At least it gets out of its own way now

Wait until you have to drive one RHD, that will really throw you then

The funny thing is, I feel ok with driving LHD or RHD..... go figure.

Hey Rod,
You can work around that... I had the same issue and there are a couple of options, so it won't be a road block to coilovers...

I want one just to see the looks on people's faces over here when I pull up next to them and I'm sitting on the "wrong" side. I'd have to get a newer one or convert the ugly front end if I did though

You just want one in RHD so you can chat up the hookers on the curb easier

Well, now that the trip is over and I am back in Aus, work can start on the the F100. Tomorrow, I will start going over it thoroughly, making a list of what it needs and where I will start. I have all the power steering bits already, but I need the pitman arm for this particular model. I also have my eye on a V8 4 speed box and t/case set-up and a complete 4WD front end. Progress will be posted as I proceed.

I think getting a ride in the Mirage truck was worth buying it so he could get strapped and end up where he did for the weekend.

I have to admit, it was a worry to take an unknown history Bronco to Baja and make it back in one piece. Although it had trans trouble, if I had arrived a few days earlier and found the problem, I could have avoided it. Never the less, the ride in the Mirage truck was fantastic, but to co-dawg in the Flying Bronco with Rick was an equal highlight of the weekend for me. Those 2 rides, and all you great folks really made the trip worthwhile and I am looking forward to a repeat in the future. Only next time, I will make sure the rig I take is more reliable

Tony is sending me my HID kit I won in the raffle, and I am gathering the parts for the P/S conversion. I will make my own hoses and fit a P/S cooler, leaving enough hose to fit the V8 set-up once installed at a later date. Some other interior goodies will go in as I find time and scavange them from my old Wagoneer.

IF and when my F100 is up to the deal, you can come over and co-dawg with me

the seat positions wont change but this time, I get the wheel

Yesterday, the window regulator took a crap. I fixed it temporarily, but its gonna need replacing. I ordered a replacement aftermarket one from Ebay, when it gets here I will install the door locking, speaker and regulator in one go. Some cheap mirrors to get rid of the ugly fold aways will go on too. Pics later.
