Pat your F150 build is so damn aggravating because I love the utility of a truck. The bedcage looks really nice. The stock spring plates turned into shock mounts are just awsome. I'm kind of an FOA fan - just curious why you went that route.

I went FOA really because I wanted to see and work with them.To look at the quality and see how well I can make them work. Kind of an under dog thing I guess. Lots of people hate them so why not find out why. haha. Their quality has gone up a lot, the coilovers are pretty nice. The bypasses had some issues and are currently back in Vegas getting looked at. Apparently I am having a problem they have not encountered before. We will see how it turns out. I am hoping for the best. .

I'm curious to see how they work out for you. I had a set but I sold them mainly due to me finding a used set of 18" kings. I replaced the fronts with kings after that. What happened was I looked for 4 months for used 18's and they were the only set that came up.

Thanks man. I always think it takes me forever to do things. But you are not the first that has told me I work fast. haha. Probably helps I have no life besides the wife(but she understands I have a disease and is very supportive. ) and kids. I have no other obligations except work and the family.

The Falkens are sitting in a corner in my garage. I didn't like them and had issues with them. Had to have one warrantied for a really bad radial pull. They rode terrible and were stupid heavy. I was pretty bummed because I hadn't heard anything bad about them before I decided on them. But the generals have been fantastic so far.

Funny thing, I went to buy the Falkens for the Expedition, and my guy at Discount refused, he said they are junk, they were fast and balance terrible. He basically said You will never forgive me for selling them to you, sold me the Yokos for the same price. Mixed bag on the review for em.....oh well. Glad you are happy with the generals. Looking forward to more updates!! Keep em coming.

Nope never showed why they are there. It's set up for two stand up spares. The tabs are for the racket strap and a lock system.

The tube portion slides through the center of the wheel into a boss and uses a 5/8 lockable hitch pin. The top hole on the tad is for the racket strap.

Ah, nice. I figured it was for spares but couldn't place where they'd go and how the tabs came into play. Good job. I like it.

So as as soon as I get the truck buttoned up, she will be for sale . Found out I will be moving to Hawaii for a few years. Pretty bummed. But excited at the same time. So be on the look out if you are looking for a new truck.

I really thought about it, but it makes more sense to sell it before. They have some crazy vehicle laws I don't want to deal with and nowhere to use it. I plan on buying a couple dirt bikes for me and the boys and save a massive truck fund for my return.

Also my Excursion is also going up for sale.
