Super clean. I like your plate work.
Re: The Flyin Filarski's TTB Jeep XJ
We got some Father’s day garage time passes this weekend.
Ryan and I worked on getting the radius arms built so we could cycle the suspension for and get the shocks mounted.
We started with 1-3/4 tube and then worked on the plate work.

We cut a window in the top of the driver side arm to make the two side mounting bolts more accessible.

Great work as usual guys!! I can't wait to see it in person. What do you think it'll end up cycling? I have seen many on here angle the top mounts of the shocks too.... is there a benefit to that in your eyes?

It cycles 17-3/4" and we figure we'll strap it at 16'sh.Silverslk wrote:Great work as usual guys!! I can't wait to see it in person. What do you think it'll end up cycling? I have seen many on here angle the top mounts of the shocks too.... is there a benefit to that in your eyes?
We cycled it both ways, with and without the tops angled. And we decided it did change enough to bother with it.

An XJ with 16+" wheel travel is gonna do some good things!! That stupid solid axle has always been the pain with those things and good travel vs lift height.
