Converting to Disc Brakes

So here's my Question...
When converting these pigs to a disc brake setup, such as a Floater Rear end and bigger 4 piston calipers Front and rear. Are you supposed to run a residual valve, while running a dual combination proportioning valve ?
Here's a picture of what I have going so far .




I'm pretty sure I'll have to run a 2lb valve for the fronts . What about my rear !

I've read that 2lb residual valves should be ran on both the front and rear.

Also, when I spoke with "Power Brake Bob" he instructed me to utilize the proportioning valve to set the brake bias where the rear brakes lock up just before the front. This ensures that the rear is taking on as much of the braking as possible

You can run 2 lb. residual valves but they aren't really necessary since your master cylinder is far above the pistons on your calipers and since you're running a floater in the rear, you don't need to worry about piston knock back which could be a problem with a semi-floater (where a 2 lb. residual might be good to have).
