Fiberwerx Bedsides and mounting

Post by AZJD »

I have a line on a nice set of Fiberwerx Bedsides. I noticed a lot of guys are cutting off the tail light section and mounting tabs just before the tail light. Do you just cut the tail light section off or are these made this way?

Pretty sure those are Autofab bedsides in the photos... they come without the taillight section.

Thank you for clearing that up! Never really impressed how glass fits around the tail lights. Looks like I may had to go Autofab! Jason

Yes autofabs come that way, but I have seen guys cut the taillight sections off of other brands due to crap fit around the lights.

I've got a junk shit set of used AF bedsides for my F150 that I'm sorta kinda still planning on using-- I thought the fit was terrible around the lights as well. I'm going to mount my f150 like the Broncos above. Call me crazy but I like the idea of bedside removal fairly quickly for service or whatever and still have the lights mounted to a solid structure.
