Came across these while browsing for jeep stuff.....wonder how they'd work on a bronco. Thoughts?

You will get exactly $183 dollars of value out of those which equates to the 2nd or possibly 3rd whoop you hit at speed. Spend the money on Autofab buckets if that is what you are after. Money better spent.

I think I would weld the "L" bracket to the frame and use 9 grade 8 bolts and nuts on each side... But then, the money spent on a nice smooth body shock is pretty close to a 12" coil-over less springs... which are not that expensive. After spending ~370 on the brackets you have a nice rig that wont quite compete with a coil-over rig that only cost roughly ~350ish more.

I still like the idea though... And I want to try it...

Yeah I would love some autofabs. 1200 bucks for the coil overs, 5 something for the regular buckets and that's without a shock mount. Mr vandii, the price includes both sides. Did some research and it looks like a few guys have used these buckets for their sas projects with good results.

You're right. I just looked again and it's priced for a pair, my mistake. I would rather go with someone engine cage kit vs. the autofab buckets. They seem a bit up there in price for what they are. $184 is a very reasonable price for what they are.

Those look pretty bad ass to me. I'd ditch the nuts and bolt. Tack it up where it makes your tide hight happy then do overlay plates onto the frame on the back and sides

Ya, if I was going with coil buckets, that would be a good start and then plate it in and add a cross brace between the two towers.

I run the auto fab bucket, I love them. They're tough as hell.

Ever heard the old saying,"you get what you pay for"?

While those buckets may do well for a sas application, we're talking apples and oranges as to the abuse a dezert truck sees compared to a rock crawler.

At the moderate speeds that i go, i wouldn't trust anything else than my Autofab buckets! Coilovers are another subject.
