4wd ford? A arm or ttb? Which is better?
Looking to build another truck? A arm or ttb? Will be some horsepower, 700+. Turbocharged! Like the idea of A arm truck but durability with front ring and pinion is my question? Need some input on this from someone who has experience please? Wyoming truck and 4wd mandatory!

If you want to keep the stock frame, TTB is the only way to go. If you are going clean slate, A arm will always have better geometry. Components get more expensive going A arm as well.

A-arms are better IF you are building something fancy. Stock stuff is not made for what you want to do. TTB is an easy IFS solution if you are not capable of building an Ultra4-like front end. It's all up to you, bud!

I love my TTB but I would to do a early 70's Ford truck with a Trophy Truck style front suspension but with a Dana 60 housing with 1350cv joints and slip drive shafts. Shoot for 25" wheel travel center mount lower A-arm and J-arm upper. Coilover with bypass and Howe 2.5 rack. Custom Dana 60 knuckles and spindles. Back halfed the frame, full cage and linked with a Dana 60 Full Floater. This could be a dream build with a stroker 460 and standalone EFI.
Then I wake up....
