Depends on how much your lifting it and which beam. The driver side beam is usually extended a little bit farther out. On average it ends up being anywhere from 3/8" to 1". You should aim for 0 degree eccentrics at ride height.yaabrother1 wrote:When Extending lower Ball Joints for a C&T Beam set up. How far is the lower Ball Joints moved on the D44 Ends?

Re: Start Your Go-Fast Build-Front Suspension
If you're building one set I think you're best off setting the front end at ride-height and cutting and measuring (camber) for yourself. The only people that are most likely to be able to give you exact figures are going to be those that make a living by modifying beams and as much as I want people to share information here, I don't expect them to give those dimensions away. Beyond that, I don't know that I would trust numbers given regardless of the source. It would be a shame to modify housings on the bench with someone else's dimensions only to find that it doesn't work right when you get it on the truck.yaabrother1 wrote:When Extending lower Ball Joints for a C&T Beam set up. That said, the numbers Philo are in the range I commonly hear for these housings....

it is one of those dont ask dont tell sort-a-things.....haha
like steve said if you are doing them yourself one set, set the camber where you want it.

The best deal out there is Southwest Performance. I would have bought a set from him if I hadn't gotten a deal from Yikes!yaabrother1 wrote:Cool i see!! just wanted too kind of get an idea. as for myself I'm going too be buying my beams.^^

I am interested in the vehicles track width and how is was kept with in class 3 specs judgeing by the pivot end where it is kicked up it looks as though you would lose track width by doing so ,i know it was mentioned in a previous post that you are using a modified pivot point and im ASSumeing that the pivots are going to be moved out to make up for this loss in track ,or the beam has been extended to acheive the same spec or maybe a little of both lol , Like i said i am interested to see it function and also impressed with the quality of the construction .

Solo sells them for $300... can't beat that. For a little more you can get a little more from Southwest, Solo, Giant, Camburg. Beams for any budget.Dezertbronco wrote:I was at Solo Today, Bobby has a great new shop and they look like they are putting out Top notch vehicles and Parts. Hey Would using f250 shock towers work just as good as shock towers? It seems I would have to move less under the hood.
