Trailer Products glass

Post by CB95XLT »

On the trailer products site it says these are for the 88 bronco....but for what I can tell on google images, they look the same in the rear panels as the 92-96. Anyone else know for sure? I just love the flat top rear fenders..and not many company's make flat tops for the broncos in 92-96

Those are for a fullsize. A guy on dezertrangers bought a set of those for his bronco and he said the fit like shit... there is a thread on it over there.

Trailer products doesnt make great quality glass. Their lay up seems super thin and fits terrible. Id stay away.

Jason at fiberwerx was considering making a 5" flat top style glass but I think he needs more people interested first

Yeah, 80-96 is the range. What are the specs on the ones you are building?

That's the Dave Ashley gass kit correct? He said he gave trailer products the molds after the ford factory ticket ran out.

The tail light area on 80-86 Broncos is slightly different. Light mounts the same but the edge of the quarter panel has two 45 degree edges instead of a radius.

Travis, we are using the 92-96 steel qtrpnls for our buck. They will include the taillight area including the inside bolt flange for the taillight.

I am not up on the small differences you guys talk about. The shape of the flare volume will hold a larger tire without appearing as too big. Im sure they will hold a 37" tire. As all of our stuff is, its not quite the stock shape. (hard to explain)

After they are completed we will morph a set for the pickup, which we already have orders for.

Not aware of what you mean by a conversion. The edges will be trimed so that there will not be a ragged edge, Plus the taillight area can be trimed off if not wanted. We can also make them so there are no visable bolts (more expensive)if a customer desires.

Another question, Do you like the stock fuel door (square) or a recess for the round aftermkt lockable door, which I prefer. We can do either or both.

I prefere stock, but you may want to consider making it optional like Fiberwerx

I'd prefer a round aftermarket lockable door...
