We are taking pre-orders for them now. The price is 1,995$ a set. I will post when we have complete sets that are ready to ship.

Anyone run these? Seems to eliminate a lot of problems with u-joins. $$$ but with the lifetime warranty it might be worth it. Interested to see some set ups.

Thats equal to about 1000 ujoints. Lots of money and i would like to see ya get replacement parts in a pinch. In all my web surfing threw various sites ive never seen one person running them.

Apparently you won't need replacement parts cause they are so strong haha. Chromoly axles and you can order w/e length you need. Increased strength in the joins and better angles? I read some where someone was getting 24" travel in the front with these.

"The factory racing" runs them on their race truck. That's the only truck I've seen running them.

You can get increased angles by clearancing you slip shaft yoke. Thats the only one that needs the increase. I did it to mine and used a d50 stub so i have a 1350 u joint. Total cost=$35. I can say with parts and paying myself labor i put about 2k into my front end. Those axles would double that and can,t see paying it for the little gain in strength. I would rather replace a u joint then a front diff. If you strengthen one thing you'll find the weak link in anouther.

Brad Lamarche runs them on his short course Bronco. I do not think he had ever had any problems with them.

I believe they are a relatively new offering from RCV as well, which may help explain why there are not many out there yet.

I bought a set. They are pretty impressive and BIG! I haven't finished my racer yet but needed to clearance inside
my spindles to fit splines thru. 30 spline at hubs, and a little tight inside ball joints....BUT I would buy again cause
they are real nice pieces and the guys at RCV are very helpful with info

Pics below D44 blowup is from Spicer, and D44 axle blowup is from Ford. Note teh part number from the Ford pic

I can't understand how to find the correct Spicer part numbers for the bolt-on pieces.....different than the c-clip pieces shown here. Every Spicer breakdown looks the same as this one. Does anyone have a list of the component parts used for bolt-on versus the component parts used for the c-clip? I found some bolt-on third members but need to find the right side yoke stub axle, bearing, seal, retainer, etc.

Seems like this thread should be merged with the D44 c-clip thread in regular tech.

$2000- seriously thats a bit on the crazy side-- I would venture to say those are a drop ship direct from RCV and are made to order-- for $2000 I sure as hell dont want to see some gayass orange boots-- reminds me of the days of trailmaster lift kits and the orange drop brackets!
