From what I have read GM used this as an upgrade on their trucks and a few of the aftermarket use this box(Lee, AGR modding it for HD dodges).Suppose to be very tough and upgradable. This box doesn't have a ford pattern but I have read it is VERY close!(mod one hole and it goes on). I haven't personally gotten one yet but, will be buying it after Christmas.

Im swaping in a GM LQ4 6.0 and was planning on running a stock pump with full crossover steering, and a superduty master and hydro-boost at least to start out.

The LQ4 uses the same Sag P-Pump that late model Broncos use as an upgrade.

The P-pump was paired with hydro boost on many vehicles so no modifications are necessary.

Would it work well with a ram assist?

They are used on the E series vans, I have one in the garage but don't remember what year it came off of.

That retrofit can is probably ok, but it looks like a leak waiting to happen.

Shouldn't have any leak issues. I have swapped cans and pulled them off to weld fittings to for years without problems.

Yea I don't see it being any worse than the stock one....the stock ones are just thin steel like this one except this one has the jci fittings already attached

The issue of leakage in the same as a stock can, The biggest issue with the PSC can is the location of the intake. Good luck if it is the best place for your install. You may have to move the fitting or find a jci/an angle fitting. No need for flared fitting on a zero pressure gravity drain fitting.

Chevy astro vans came with remote reservoirs. Don't know if the fittings would fit your application but it'd be a good place to start if you have to modify a can.

There are brackets available to run the newer saginaw pump as well witch is incredibly more efficient and lends itself to a remote reservoir as well.
