front true trac issue

hello everyone, I have a problem with my attempt at a go-fast front end.
I installed cut and turned beams, extended radius arms, gears and a truetrac. When trying to put the driver's side front axle in everything is boundup like the axle is too long. I got it together but now can't get any adjustment on the caster/camber cams because everything is so bound up. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this? I googled searched half the night and can't find anything. Thanks for any help.

Your diff needs to be clocked.

I think I would agree with this. From my experience, you only clock the diff when you do the pie cut method of cut and turn. I might be wrong though.

Sorry my bad. I'm a A arm guy new to the ttb world so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I started to think that though after the fact. A friend of mine had a ranger with 4.5 over ttb's that were pie cut. Couldnt even get the drivers axle close to being in.

I got them from Taylor (805hooigan) he said Red Beard Fab did them and you can see pics of them on his website. Is there any fixing these or are they trash? Is Southwest back up and going yet? I saw the website is finally working. Any idea how much a set of beams are from him?

Work is still running through Southwest so give them a call. Clocking the diff may get it to work but I would question how will it align and drive if it is that far off. Otherwise look to get a set of southwest beams or Autofab.

ok thanks everybody, I've already left a message with southwest and I'll talk to Autofab too. I'm going to try it again when I get off of nights. Might just cut the axle and not use 4wd till I can get a fix for it.

I would try and stay away from anything that red beard touched, I have heard a couple horror stories.. Contact solo or threat Motorsports

this may have nothing to do with the issue you are having Texasbronco but if I remember right some guys had to mod the truetrac? can any remind me if this was just for the c clip or another reason

your right, I have a true trac in the back that I had to mod the spool that holds the axles apart so maybe the same for the front.

I've had trutrac in front of several ttb, never an issue, no mods. Have one in front of race bronco right now. Ole yellar, the prerun bronco I just sold has one too. So does my dad's white stretch bronco.
The three trucks mentioned run ratios of 4.88, 4.11, 4.56 respectively. I don't think axle alignment has anything to do with the trutrac and everything to do with the snout location post C&T.

what doesn't make sence is moving the spindle farther away and the axle acting too long, which is why I'm thinking its an issue with the truetrac. Are any the truetrac you used the new type with no c-clip access? I've seen mag articles that showed early versions still using c-clips.

My tru track had to have the spider gear milled to fit the c clip but I that shouldn't cause the axle to not slide all the way in.

I know sorry for no pics, me and computers just barely get along. I haven't been able to work on it in over a week I'm going to try and tear it back down in the morning, maybe I just wasn't holding my mouth right.

all the apps I've used trutrac on have had bolted-in stub axle so no c-clip.
perhaps that's the difference that causes your issue?

If you have c-clip shafts they dont work in non c-clip applications. You have to mill off the C-clip end to fit.
Thats why lockers & carriers will have two different part numbers for C-clip & non c-clip.

Not to hijack the thread but I am installing a Trutrac into a 95 Bronco. I have Eaton part number 913A592 that says for c clip but there is no window or opening to install the clip. What am I missing ?
