Sunvisor's with roll cage problem solved.

Was having a hard time figuring out what to do about sunvisors with the roll cage. I knew factory ones wouldnt work very well and still look decent. So while on karteks site i noticed they sell visors for roll cages @ $110 a peice. Took there idea and ran with it a little. I have about $20 into both of mine just waiting till i can get the rear view mirror back on before i cut the actual visor out of lexan or abs. Hope you like, the spring is from my r/c car racing days and has a 25lb rating which puts plenty of tension to keep it in place so far. After some wheeling if its to loose i can change springs out at the cost of a cotter pin.

Is it me or is the actual visor not in the photos? Looks good regardless.

Kyle Taylor's TT had visors. They were hung by C-shaped pieces that were clamped directly to the roll cage tube.... simple and worked well. Kyle said they netted him 10-20 mph when driving into the sun.

Yeah the actual visor isnt made yet. Im waiting till i get the rear view mirror in. There is just a 1-1/2" flat to mount them too.

A dude I know in az made some nearly identical, on his he bought a roll of that valance plastic from Kartek and used that for the actual visor. Worked out pretty well.
