Andy...
I will give the race team $400 bucks for those dusty old BFG's on the shelf... You guys don't want to upset the new sponsor
Unless somebody has a deal on Toyos??
*not sure if this was your intention for the thread (sarcasm)

Haha! Exactly T. I get older every day and need a tire that won't let me down when I run out of talent. Not that I ever had any to begin with. No paper mache tires for me. Nope. Flats are no fun to change either. Toyos and Beadlocks keep me safe and on the gas even when the rocks are jagged and the cactus is trying to reach out and touch my beautiful Bronco.

Super Swamper Boggers!
...Just kidding, haha! Toyo's are awesome although BFG All Terrains are good too and are a lighter tire but I still say either Toyo's or BFG Projects.

Re: Tire Thread?
Well.. here's the deal.. the race team had the plug pulled on the BFG sponsorship two weeks before parker 425... General is helping out with tires thanks to Casey at Best In The Desert.. I've always ran what ever the race team had because tires were free.. I've had Goodyear, BFG, and General grabber race tread.. the time has come to get new tires, and I can't make up my mind on which Brand too run. When I had the race compound generals I hated them. But now they have a dot 35!.. but I really can't make up my mind on the generals or the BFG a/t's .. I can still get BFG at racers cost.
dont PM me.. I don't get them on Taptalk

Re: Tire Thread?
They have not gone to the new tread pattern on the Goodyear race tires?
I use to run BFG on everything since I got them at racer cost or free. But when I got my Dodge 3500 I went to Toyo M/T and loved them. Now is time for me to get a new set of tires for the Explorer and I can't decide between Toyo, Goodyear, or BFG. All would be in the M/T pattern. The Explorer would be used in prerunner and crawling stuff. I have heard the Toyo's don't like to bulge much when deflated. The Goodyears have the kevlar and suppose to be a really good tread pattern. BFG, I know what I am getting there.

Re: Tire Thread?
My Toyos bulge just fine... you just need about 8-10 psi.

I killed one 45 minutes after having it mounted. Not good for the desert.... but great for going to Starbucks in Laguna Beach!
