Dash Removal 80's

I want to remove my dash as a whole unit. I want to put it in another Bronco any tricks or tips, links? Thanks pm

Be very patient and do not allow yourself to have a pair of dykes handy otherwise frustration will show its ugly head. Also be very gentle and dont force anything. 20 year old plastic dont respond well to prybars either.

I got it out! I have no doors,hood fenders,etc. on right now so that may have helped a lot. Pretty much took off dash pad and gage cluster face. 8 bolts, two on each lower corner and a couple around top speaker area.I had to cut one thing, the gear indicator and it was messed up anyways.I got the thing out as a unit much like they do when they install them at the factory. I'll get some pictures up later.

I did this on my 86 and i just destroyed it! But I wanted to upgrade to the 1993+ dash anyway! Still it was a lot of work so congrats on getting out in one piece.
