The title is confusing i know haha...But I picked up a Giant Engine Cage, King 2.5x14 Coilovers for my D44 TTB F150. My main issue is going to be aligning it. Im not going to run drop brackets, and cant afford the downtime of taking my beams off to cut and turn them. Im guessing ill be around 4-6" of lift. Would this be alignable still?

keep the ride height about stock height before the cut and turns and yes. You have the option with coilovers! At 4-6" of lift I doubt it will pull in to spec.

This is true. Is a 2 degree cam about the biggest you can go?

I thought I heard they had 3* but I'm not positive. It's been a long while since I looked. Us kingpin guys don't have that option...

I have 3.125 deg cams here. Got them off ebay.

3.0 or 2 3/4 are the biggest that I see. I think you can get 2-3 inches of lift with 3* cams and still align it. The angle is bad on spindle bearings and ujoints because of the stub axle alignment on the drivers side I thought. I ran 2* with 2" of lift on my 95 and it still had a little positive camber.

Why would one go thru all of the trouble of installing an engine cage and coilovers and not cut and turn the beams?

Removing fenderwells, trying to get Giant anything to fit right, coilover mounting,Fabbing the bottom C/O mounts, Drop pittman arm, Extended Brake lines,Exteneded radius arms,Strap clevises,straps,cycling,etc. is going to take atleast a weekend, if you know what you are doing, why not take an extra day and do it right.

Honestly Alignment is out of the question unless it is at stock height, C/T with cams

Please dont take this as a flaming, But you really need to make sure you know what you are up against.

x2 2-3 inch lift is way maxed out.... i did a truck like this for a customer and it a pain. if you have stock radius arms it will be a complete pos..... you cant get the caster and the camber in... and the camber will still be positive by a few degrees with a small lift. at 4-6 inch with the bigest cam it will probally be 10+ positive.....

Nothing wrong with drop brackets. Better than big eccentrics.

I agree, I love my set up. But i wouldnt go thru all that trouble without doing a C/T

I'm c/o with drop brackets and I'm very pleased with it. Rancho kit. Take a look into it at the very least. Especially since you have such a good setup already, at least add some rancho drop brackets.

There are atleast 3 Drop bracket lifts on broncos at PAP san bernardino

Exactly, which is why you will never be able to align 4 inches of lift on a TTB setup without either drop brackets or C&T beams.
