I believe he was shut down by ford basically. He was really big in the early bronco world at one point

He kind of vanished off the internet too, a few of the folks at FSB.com have suggested that he did have some health issues and maybe those got the better of him. At one point the rjminjection website was still working and taking orders but they were not being filled. I agree that it is too bad as he had good stuff. My '92 has a MAF harness and a few other things from RJM and everything worked great.

I did a company search mid-year and came up with RJM still registered as a company and still in business with 4 employees. It may be he is only supplying wholesale to retailers, rather than selling to the general public. Ron Francis and others still advertise and sell his harnesses.

the above is very possible too. Most likely a good move for them as the customer service was always just "ok". So now they do not have to really have that.

I'm pretty sure Ryan was a Ford Engineer. He never came out and said it, but his knowledge of the 90s Ford EFI was unsurpassed. You could tell me he was the actual designer and I would totally believe it. He was also a big fan of the 3G alternator upgrade. But what he really did for us in the early 90s was teach us how to convert our Speed Density EFI motors to Mass Air Flow. He made and sold conversion harnesses and hardware. I really think that Ford got pissed and forced him to shut down, but it's really a shame. The guy was super helpful and never wrong.

I don't think Ford got pissed. It's all information that's been published before. I own a few books with said info and there are thousands of websites that have published the same.

Maybe Ford shut down the use of fordfuelinjection.com when they stopped a bunch of other sites for using the name without consent? Regardless, it seems the site continued for quite a while after it changed names.

I'm in the middle of converting my 89 as well, went with Brian at Fiveology Racing, he was big into fox body stuff but does truck MAF conversions including. Big block, super impressed with the kit and his customer service I totally recommend giving them a call.
