1996 Bronco O2 Sensor wiring help

Post by Solo Motorsports 44 »

1996 Bronco 5.8 OBII.
Question: I'm replacing the 2 O2 upstream sensors off the Y-pipe and the 1 downstream.
Backstory: I got this bronco as a project from a customer. It was tipped over with a 1996 chassis and a 1994 cab still with the 1996 computer. He did not finish the cab swap. So I got it and finished the swap. It has Solo Motorsports cage, 4 1/2 over beams, Kings, etc, etc..... Basically a Stage 6 Bronco if there was one offered.

I went to install the Y-pipe that was given to me off the Bronco along with the cats/muffler and as I installed the Y-pipe, I found what I think is the plug for the PS Upstream O2 sensor next to the starter red cable. I cannot find the plug on the DS upstream and there is no wiring on the frame on the PS for the downstream O2. I searched the internet for images of the missing O2 wires, but no luck.

What am I missing???? call me at Solo Motorsports at 626.966.7656 and ask for Paul.....Thanks

If anyone has can post any decent pictures of what I'm missing ie: O2 frame/chassis plugs, wire loom, and location, that would help ...thanks again

Bank 1 and bank 2 o2 sensors plug into the stock manifolds. The connectors for those are on the engine harness and they have keepers that attach to the back of the heads. This is how it is for a 96 5.0 atleast.
