Effective immediately, ALL signatures have been disabled
In light of the fact that some do not understand the difference between USERS supporting an individual or business and the website as a whole supporting anyone or anything, signatures will be disabled indefinitely.

It should have also been noted that signatures have been a source of drama and headache for the GFB crew. By disabling them, we eliminate the last piece of editable text for users-Text which users have used to take stabs at others.
This is NOT what we envisioned for GFB but, as has already been stated, if GFB becomes too labor intensive to monitor and keep in control, it will simply be shut down. We do not have the time or desire to babysit users to ensure they do not act like children.
This may or may not be permanent. Time will tell.
