We're making progress. The entry fee goes in today. Looks like one EB and one Jeep, in the pre 82. #4549 I cant offer any extra incentive, but the guy running the Vintage program has no problem with a coil over, so the Moss Bronco would eligible. MINT 400 BABY!!

I had to call off my effort to run the V2R race because of business travel, but am looking ahead to running in the Vintage Class at the Mint 400 in March. Are there any Bronco guys planning on running? I did post a little side bet on class3 for the Black Bronco, just to make things interesting.

Ran short of time to properly finish prepping the Blazer due to business travel. Ended up spending the race with Doug Hayduk of Wicked Gravity Videos, with a press pass around my neck. It ranks as one of my most fun race experiences.

Too bad that he won't make this one, but I'm planning on doing the NORRA event this year, so there's no escape. He's going to have to toughen up, since all he rides are plush coil overs these days. I have entered the V2R race in Aug. I thought I'd check in with Broncoville to see if anyone was thinking racing or chasing. I have entered the pre-82 Vintage Truck class. I was told the Morris EB is running, but that's it so far. One sticking point( possibly) is the no coil over rule in the pre 82 ...

What are your plans ?

Aug. 19-20th My first race since 2010. I have entered the Pre1982 Vintage Truck class. Entry fees are less than half at$1,200. Calling all Race Broncos or trucks !!!

Worst case, take the trolley to the border , walk across and aim for the bus station. It's on the right after walking through the turnstile at the border. Ask anybody. They have nice buses to Ensenada for $15 each way or a little less. The even show movies.

I wear a large. Great design. How do us folks who aren't going to the 1,000 going to get one?

I tried the stage 8 on my Blazer, but I have a spring that keeps tension on my hub. The spring hung up on the stage 8 stuff and caused significant delay in a 1000 that caused us to abandon the aftermarket locks. The stock stuff works fine if properly tightened to start.
