The mcneil hood can be had without the louvers just give perry a call. I have that hood with reinforced factory hinge points. Perry will do pretty much anything that way.

Before I committed to the 9" I had Desert Concepts build me a basic truss (over the top) and we welded the tubes as well. Mine was bent and we were able to get it almost straight doing that. Worked well there are pictures in my build thread.

I have had a couple of recovery situations I had to wait for a second vehicle to prevent similiar results....cant help but laugh a little though glad everyone was okay.

With stock buckets and J40s you will be just about level maybe half an inch higher in the rear. I had the deavers and really liked them they last and with a j40 give you a good level with the rear. As an aside most 4" brand new sit about where the deavers sit the deavers didnt sag either.
