Our bronco bumps on the frame and cycles 19.5" travel. Works pretty decent.... best leaf sprung truck ive ever driven and ive own quite a few prerunners. U joint bind is whats limiting my travel #'s too btw

Like others have said... I had the same issue. Kept patching it with more tibe supports until it would crack in other places... only fix was caging through the firewall. Now its solid as can be. My GT40 302 put down 220hp 232ft/lbs torque with a holly 750 4 barrel carb....

I personally think once you put some 24# injectors in it and tune it you will easily see 220-230hp or maybe more.... I think its gonna starve gor fuel with the stock injectors
