The only thing that would make this car any cooler would be to put an early Bronco body on it.

Re: Suspension setup questions
Forgive me if I missed something but I just scanned the previous posts and looked at pics in your build thread. My $.02. I think a big problem you have is that you have used up some or all of the additional wheel travel you should have gained from the suspension lift with spacer blocks and giant bum...

Re: axle wrap
I have an 82 F250 2x4 built big block. It has been used for towing all its life. The rear springs were squashed and i put a new set on, took big overload spring off bottom and replace with 3 thinner springs, and put air bags on. I tore the driveline out twice in the sand from tire hop. I put an Auto...

That is a sweet setup. I would really like to see some close-up pics of the ends of the truss, both the outer ends and where they meet the center section.

Cage Tubing Size Recommendation
I am getting ready to purchase materials for a full cage front to rear on a bronco which will have rear seating. I have ready access to 1.75 OD .095 wall DOM tubing. Though this truck will be entered in some limited cross country racing in Texas, we are doing this for fun, and this truck is not inte...

Re: Some observations and questions of mine
I saw an ad recently where Bilstein was making stock replacement reservoir shocks similar to the short body shocks. Basically you get stock collapsed length but longer stroke than stock because the gas/oil divider piston is in the reservoir instead in the shock. Might be worth a look.

At least you kept it on all 4 wheels...er 3 wheels at least. Don't get discouraged. Rapairs and maintence are just part of it.

Re: 4.56 and MPG's
I have 95 MAF 5.8 E4OD and HEAVY ass 35" Baja's with 3.55's. Heading up to the Silverstate 300 last weekend I filled up before leaving Garden Grove and filled up in Henderson. Using the odometer I got 11.8mpg but the speedo hasn't been corrected for the 35's and runs about 10% off. 213miles was pro...
