"Gumby" The 67 F100 Prerunner
Put about 250 dirt miles on the truck this weekend at the Fast Aid poker run. No issues other than the hood pins came loose! Whoever installed them didn't use lock nuts or weld the bottom nut to the tab on the radiator support. Due to this the hood popped up while I was doing about 60MPH on a power ...

Been working my butt off trying to get this thing ready for the Fast Aid Poker Run this weekend in Parker. Just received a ton of stuff from my friends at SDHQ Offroad just in time to get installed on this thing. Got a Lowerance Point 1 Baja antenna for my Globalmap 7300CHD, two fire extinguishers, ...

Started building an exhaust today... I was lucky as all of the bolts came out of the exhaust manifolds without issue. The headers that came with the truck are for a 351M (Clevelands were never offered in trucks) and were supposed to fit, the do not. The driver side fits ok but the passenger hits the...

Installed some new tires today... upgraded to Toyo 39" race tires. The truck drives sooo much smoother now. Going to have to convert to a full floater and put bigger breaks on it soon. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160330/4a4b4cd65cc6775c4c2e419eb4bcd81c.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160...

If the back end was more vintage I would leave the multi shock setup. It's cool but makes for 3x the work when valving and rebuilding. No Coyote motor. If the Cleveland fails I will go to a LS based engine and T400. Don't worry, I'll put Ford stickers on it like this "Dodge" motor. http://uploads.ta...

Drives like crap right now... BFG flat spot shake and front end feels like tow out... darts all over the place.
Going to lop those front mounts of and run a coilover and maybe a bypass. Probably have to widen it a little to get good shock angles.

SDHQ has them... and they ship everyday.
If you go to a race they sell them on the vendor trailer.

Re: Can I borrow a car hauler??
FYI, a UHaul Auto Transport weighs a little over 2K, and is rated at 6K, 7K, or 7.5K depending on the year of manufacture. So the highest rated AT can hold a vehicle that weighs 5200lb or less and has weight distributed in such a way that the trailer is loaded correctly (more toward the front for pr...

Re: Can I borrow a car hauler??
The tow dolly is only rated for 4.1K weight... there is a newer one that is wider that came out a few months ago but it's not intended for a full size Bronco. You will damage an automatic transmission unless you remove the rear driveline or have a transfer case that can be put in neutral. The UHaul ...
